Current and past students from District 20's construction trade program at Liberty gathered in the workshop on December 8th for a celebration. They not only commemorated the end of a 3-year construction project of a modular home but also celebrated the transfer of ownership to Liberty graduate and former construction student Victoria Turner. Victoria was one of over one hundred students who built the 3-bedroom, 2-bath home from the ground up. She now works for a local roofing company after gaining experience in D20's program.

The money from the purchase will go back into the curriculum and help fund the next project. Coverage of the events and interviews can be found on community news stations KOAA, KRDO, and People magazine published a feature on their online platform.
