Pathways to Excellence
Liberty course schedules are student driven, and classes are offered based on student requests. With their families, students create a pathway toward post-secondary goals. Both sides of the brain are developed, with classes, electives and activities selected based on personal strengths and interests.
Honors and Advanced Placement
Talented and gifted students, and those who are highly motivated, may earn college credit with honors and AP courses at Liberty. Twenty AP courses cover topics such as history, languages and sciences, for example. Students complete research projects, presentations and independent study.
Career and Technical Education
Liberty is home to one of the district’s newest Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. These students get a head start experience in areas such as architecture, construction, emergency medical technician, certified nursing assistant and the arts. In addition to developing skills, students earn credits at Pikes Peak Community College.
Library Media Center
The Library Media Center at Liberty offers a wide variety of print and digital materials to support student research and interests. Some resources are available from other schools through the district’s interlibrary loan service. Students may use the center’s computers as well.
