The Liberty Choirs are a place for students to sing together, explore their musical interests and passions, and find the space to create outlets through musical expression. The program is rooted in community, collaboration and excellence and strives to strengthen individuals through a caring environment to collectively produce exceptional musical experiences.

All students are welcome to be a part of the choir program!

Liberty High School Choir Ensembles

Tenor-Bass Choir

  • Grades 9-12

  • Non-auditioned ensemble

  • TTBB

  • In this group singers build fundamental community and relationships for their time in LHS performing arts. Singers gain confidence performing in a group and build vocal technique and sight-reading skills. This group performs varied styles of choral music with and without piano accompaniment.All incoming freshmen should enroll in Tenor-Bass or Treble Choir.

Treble Choir

  • Grades 9-12

  • Non-auditioned ensemble

  • SSAA

Treble Ensemble

  • Audition-only ensemble

  • SSAA

  • This advanced treble ensemble performs accompanied and a cappella choral repertoire. Treble ensemble performs multiple styles, including Western Classical Choral music, pop, and jazz. 

Chamber Singers

  • Grades 10-12

  • Audition-only ensemble

  • SATB divisi

  • Singers perform advanced choral repertoire and represent Liberty HS at festivals, contests, and community events. All singers prepare for the Colorado All State Choir audition. 

Jazz Choir

  • Grades 10-12

  • Audition-only ensemble

  • SATB divisi

  • Singers learn vocal jazz microphone singing technique, and every singer uses their own mic. Singers also learn how to sing with a rhythm section, improvise, and operate sound technology. All singers prepare for and are encouraged to audition for Colorado All State Jazz Choir. 

Choir/Dance Elective: Musical Theater and Dance

In this semester-long course students will explore the history and style of each era of American musical theater! Students will also learn and perform a musical number from each era. This course is open to all students and does not require an audition.
