For Your Future
We're more than just running laps or perfecting your form—it’s about building resilience, setting goals, and cultivating self-discipline. The sport teaches you how to push through physical and mental barriers, maintain focus, and celebrate the progress you make, no matter how big or small. These lessons are invaluable, helping you succeed not just in athletics but in your academic and personal life as well. By joining the Track & Field team, you become part of a community that values hard work, determination, and mutual support. If you're looking for a sport that allows you to grow individually while contributing to a team, Track & Field is an excellent choice.
What We Do
Together we strive to create a positive, enjoying environment where athletes can grow, and support each other. We will inspire athletes to work hard, stay committed, and show up every day to learn and develop important skills, in order to achieve their highest level of performance, inside and outside of sport.
Our Coaches
Our coaches, support the LHS Mission Statement by action. We create a close community of athletes where they feel comfortable to be themselves and to grow from where they are. If they aren’t comfortable in their environment, how can they be completely open to growth? Track and Field is a sport that pushes sport growth, but more importantly, life growth. It doesn’t just teach you how to run fast or jump high or throw far. Track and Field teaches you those deep, tough lessons, like how to keep going when things get hard, how to persevere and stay committed and dedicated to something you enjoy, how to set goals and hopefully achieve those goals and higher, how to push to the next level when maybe you thought that was all you had to give, how to problem solve in critical situations, how to listen and learn from those around you, and how to prepare yourself for the future. It’s not just about life on the track, but each day at practice we will push the athletes to become the best versions of themselves, because we have a true passion for coaching.
