The Peak Press is the student newspaper of Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The publication is part of the Journalism course taught by English teacher Cambrea Schrank. In this course, students are exposed to the conventions and rules of journalism, as well as graphic design, photography composition, and interviewing skills. The students produce journalistic writing, photography, and graphics for their portfolios and publications.
The Peak Press has been covering its community through different mediums for decades. In 2021, the Peak Press transitioned to an online platform where students' articles and photos are published under the categories of News, Sports, Liberty Life, and Opinion.
