Open to Juniors and Seniors
Building Construction is a district offered CTE class open to juniors and seniors within ASD20. Building Construction is an application-based class and is approved at the district level. Liberty High School is proud to offer Building Construction on-site and taught by Liberty teachers.
Who can apply?
Incoming ASD20 juniors and seniors. Applications for our CTE classes open in the spring for the following school year.
Are there any Pre-Requisites?
There are no pre-requisites required to take Building Construction 1. Algebra 1 & Geometry are strongly recommended.
How long is the program?
Building Construction 1 is a year-long class. Liberty also offers Building Construction 2 after completion of Building Construction 1.
What will students receive at program completion?
Students who complete the program will receive:
HBI Core of Constructions Certification
OSHA 10 Certification
4 Core Elective High School Credits (2 per/semester)
Students may also receive an HBI Carpentry Certification.
