Emily Robertson was named Photographer of the Year 2024 by the Colorado Student Media Association (CSMA).

Students submit a portfolio of their best 7-12 images for consideration. These submissions are reviewed by top journalists and educators from across the nation. This year, they decided that Emily's amazing photojournalism rose above the rest. Past winners of this award include the current photographer from the Boston Red Sox!

Emily wins a $250 certificate, $250 for her school's yearbook program, and her name will forever be listed as photographer of the year for 2024.

This is the first time that a D20 student has won this award. Emily's portfolio is posted on the CSMA website indefinitely for future employers to view.

This competition honors Colorado's young photojournalists by recognizing a broad excellence in their work from this school year. This contest represents photographic work from a variety of sources including yearbook, news publications, or websites.

Liberty students received twenty additional awards for Yearbook, nine of those were first place.
