Staff, family, and community members who served and are currently serving in the military were celebrated at Liberty on Friday, November 10th. The morning began with a reception, where students joined their family members and veteran staff for coffee and breakfast. The veterans then joined the student body for an assembly where the District 20 Centurion Color Guard began the ceremony under the command of Liberty student Cadet Nick Kovacevich. Liberty's choirs and band performed special compilations. The Liberty dance team performed a tribute dance. Guest speaker Colonel Craig Kozeniesky spoke to the students, and all veterans were honored with a special plaque and photo presentation. Thank you to those who participated in our assembly and those who served and are serving in the U.S. military branches. We are grateful for your sacrifices and dedication.
